Bicycling around Central San Diego

Through other people, maps, aerial photos and exploring, I've found numerous trails that can be used to connect areas that normally aren't that well connected. Many of these trails are able to be ridden on cyclocross bikes. Some of these trails go through City of San Diego open space parks, others go through canyons that aren't open space, but aren't closed off.

This page will cover areas to bicycle, both road and mountain, in the central portion of the City of San Diego. Areas such as Maple Canyon, Florida Dr Canyon, and urban back roads will be discussed.
