Introduction to Me, Michael Ballard

My name is Mike Ballard. I am 29 years old. I have been studying geology for about 24 years now. My plan for the future is to get a Ph. D. in Structural Geology. I also have a big interest in highways, new and old. I also have a boyfriend that shares many interests since mid 2001. Presently, I attend San Diego City College and am working with the San Diego County Dept of Environmental Health.

I have done quite a bit of traveling for a person my age. So far, I've been to 46 states, missing South Carolina, Maine, Alaska, and Hawaii. I've traversed all of every State highway in California, all of I-5 and I-10 across the US. One goal of mine is to travel to all of the 50 states and most of the National Parks/Monuments. The only one I haven't been to in California is Channel Islands. Santa Catalina Island isn't a part of the park, but I have been there.
